11 Jul Esse Quam and Norvi Va collaborate on Free Health & Wellness Fair
Esse Quam, has signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate with Norvi Va Foundation, another not-for profit organisation for this year’s Health & Wellness Fair. The MOU for the partnership, signed by the directors of both organisations indicated that the fair, which will be held in Nkumkrom, located in the Akwapim south district of the Eastern Region in Ghana, will have the theme: “Fight Against Malaria“ and will be targeting all in the community, with concentration on children below 15 years.
The programme, to be jointly assisted by volunteers from both organisations, is expected to screen residents in the community for their blood pressure, test for malaria parasites, and also give them health talks and tips that can enhance their health life.
It is worthy to note that, in April this year, Esse Quam held a similar exercise on World Malaria Day for the people in the Oboadaka community, also located in the Akwapim south district, with the theme “Advance Equity. Build Resilience. End malaria”.
